The Monaco Yacht Show 2021 will go on this year in September with a new, more private and of course, safe format with participation from the most notable shipyards, designers, and yachts from across the globe. The 2021 Monaco Yacht Show organizers are confident in the new format of the show and despite last year’s conditions, the show will be moving forward.

60 Superyachts and 40 Brand New Yachts Built by the Best Shipyards Worldwide

A total of 300 exhibitors will be participating this year, including 60 superyachts with 40 brand new launches from some of the best shipyards in the world. Designed around the superyacht clientele, this year’s Monaco Yacht Show will offer “a bespoke experience of unparalleled prestige.” Each of the three new categories of visitors will have their own badge so they can be clearly identified. A “Discover” badge is for yacht clients, the “Advise” badge will be for their advisors and consultants, and finally, the “Connect” badge will be for trade and visitors. With this enhanced flow, yacht clientele will be able to board yachts more easily.

New Areas Dedicated for Yacht Tenders, Toys, Sail Boats and Yacht Designs

There will be two new exhibitions this year in addition to the Tenders & Toys area as well as the Car Deck and the Designer Gallery. The first will be dedicated to sailing boats, and the second is the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub, a new area designated for the presentation of yacht design projects.

Safety Precautions

With regard to the pandemic and safety precautions taken, General Manager of the exhibition Gaëlle Tallarida stated, “We are following the evolution of the pandemic very closely, as well as the sanitary constraints applied in each of our visitors’ home countries. As organizers of the exhibition, our responsibility is to ensure safe and healthy conditions for each visitor, exhibitor, service provider and member of staff. The MYS will therefore be following the health measures instated by the principality’s government, as well as the “AllSecure” health security program, which is mandatory for all Informa Group events.”
