Located across Istanbul, Bilgin Yachts operates four large shipyards spanning over 59,000 square meters and has the capacity to build four yachts concurrently.
One hangar offers the capacity to build superyachts up to 40 meters, while its other hangar has the capacity for two additional yachts up to 50 meters. Recently, the yard acquired an additional 10,000 square meters with a contract with the West Istanbul Marina. The yard is highly supportive of eco-friendly practices during its production stages and beyond, and its goal is to be one of the more prominent shipyards in the world while supporting its clientele and keep to high standards.
Unique Design and Clever Naval Architecture
Built in Turkey, each luxury yacht constructed by Bilgin features unique yacht design and clever naval architecture. The company is currently occupied with four new projects including the Bilgin 163, 243, 263, and the 278. Together with the naval architects at Unique Yacht Design, the Bilgin 163, at 50 meters, will reflect a trendy and vast yacht designed with oversized windows and high-gloss materials to reflect the season of autumn. The yacht will features six staterooms and voluminous living spaces.
The following luxury yacht project also built in Turkey, the 74-meter Bilgin 243 is also being done in collaboration with the naval architects at Unique Yacht Design. The superyacht will launch in 2024, with yacht design by Emrecan Ozgün. The unique yacht design that will be built in Turkey, will feature a five-deck layout on a highly efficient yacht hull form and will boast a flybridge with numerous sunbathing spaces. The upper deck will have a lounge, while the bridge deck will host a living room with a bar area and an additional living room with a dining table that accommodates up to 16 guests.
Bilgin’s 80-meter project, 263, has sold its third unit at the start of 2022, and it will be delivered in 2023. Partnering with Unique Yacht Design for the naval architecture, the yard is also working alongside H2 Yacht Design for the interior and living spaces. The luxury yacht features angular exterior lines and modern interiors employing the use of Macassar ebony, eucalyptus, and lots of marble. Also called Project Silence, the luxury yacht will offer speeds of up to 19 knots via two 2,560kW engines, and will cruise at 12 knots keeping fuel consumption at 280 l/h just as her sistership, TATIANA. The dedicated yacht owner’s deck is placed above the main deck, while the bridge is on the top deck for the ultimate in visibility.
