Company History
Sold by a network of dealerships around the globe, Fleming Yachts are built by Tung Hwa boatyard in Taiwan.
Established in 1985 by Tony Fleming, who still runs the company today, and began his career working for the builder of Grand Banks trawler yachts, the yard builds cruising motor yachts ranging from 55 feet (16.7m) to 85 feet (26m). Beginning with the Fleming 55, followed by the Fleming 65, which launched in 2005, by the following year, the yard had delivered 170 Fleming 55s, five 65s, and 12 Fleming 75s. by 2011, there had been over 200 Fleming yachts cruising worldwide waters, but by then, Tony has turned over the helm to his nephew and began cruising the world on his own Fleming 65.
