  • What is your budget?
  • What is your preferred hull material?
  • Where and how do you plan to use your yacht?
  • How many people would you like to have onboard?
  • Where will you store it?

There are hundreds of new yachts for sale in your area, but if there is a better deal on the other side of the world, are you willing to wait four to six weeks to get it delivered, or do you want to get your new yacht immediately? Buying a brand new yacht is a unique and exciting experience. Contact our yacht broker members who will guide you with accuracy, integrity, and passion for helping you find the vessel of your dreams. Exclusive or Central Yacht Listings Only

This policy lets you contact the official central agent/yacht broker straight via phone or through the contact form found next to each yacht listing. The central agent is the individual who gives you real-time information about the yacht listing you are interested in purchasing.

With thousands of yacht listings available, we recommend you set limits when you begin your yacht search. The more filters you put, the more precise your results will be, and the easier it will become to make your choice.

What is the Average Price for a Brand New Yacht?

The average price of a new yacht will differ based on your needs. Depending on the size of the yacht you are looking at, the pedigree of the yacht builder, to even the location or extras you opt for, can all impact the final price. To provide a bit of context, however, most will agree that the formula – $1 million per 3.3ft will get you a nice round ballpark of a figure to work with.

What is the Annual Cost of Owning a New Yacht?

The annual running cost of your yacht will depend on the size of yacht you purchase, the number of crew onboard and even the style (sailing yacht, motor yacht, catamaran yachts, etc.). A good rule to keep in mind is 10 – 20% of the purchase price of the yacht is what it will cost annually to maintain it. So, if you buy a $30 million yacht, it will cost you $3 – $6 million a year to cover the “running” or maintenance costs of the vessel.

Is it expensive to maintain a new yacht?

The costs to maintain a new yacht versus an old yacht will still use the similar guidance of 10 – 20% of the purchase price annually, however, newer yachts will usually come with a warranty, to cover any major issues for a certain period of time. In addition, newer yachts will (usually) have less things that have worn out, broken down, or that need replacing, versus an older yacht so this is important to bear in mind when creating a budget for running costs of newer versus older yachts.
