Refit History
Comprehensive major and minor refits have taken place at STP in Mallorca in 2014/2015, and again at the end of 2015. A winter refit at Royal Huisman was completed 2016/2017, and substantial winter maintenance performed in 2018 and 2019.
During these periods of maintenance, the interior has been refitted and modified. Full service, rebuild or replacement of virtually every system and mechanical item has been undertaken during the past 5 years.
Prior to this, a comprehensive refit was done in 2013, all machinery rebuilt or serviced.

Remarks
"SURAMA" has been fitted out to the highest of standards with the latest sails and equipment for racing and cruising, water sports equipment and modern technological improvements to rival any vessel being built today. She has been prepared for a modern owner and cruising family for sailing to the furthest reaches being unsupported and self sufficient. The extent of the works which have been completed leave "SURAMA" in the finest condition possible, with the latest equipment and poised to undertake any type of use the owner may wish.
This is a magnificent Royal Huisman ketch, a pedigree yacht built to very high standard and extensively upgraded. Conceived as a world cruiser, no expense or detail was spared in her creation, as well as in her maintenance throughout her ownership. She offers an ideal layout with a a large owner's cabin with private cockpit access, and a centerboard keel allowing for shallow draft destinations as well as good performance in Superyacht Cup / Bucket type regattas.
