Please tell us about yourself, your company, and some recent projects that you are working on.

I started working in the fashion industry 20 years ago, and decided to start working on my passion which was interior design. I saw a gap in the market for luxury outdoor furniture, especially on yachting projects. That is when I started researching for these niche suppliers, also creating collaborations with them that would fit my Mediterranean aesthetic.

Clients than started asking me for tableware, curtains, indoor furniture, fabrics, lighting and accessories. I quickly expanded my team and the number of our showrooms on the Riviera – to become a one stop-destination for yacht and home owners.

What are some yacht design trends you are seeing this year?

Yacht interiors tend to be less affected by trends then what we see in the residential world – as the approach is more “long term”. You wouldn’t change your wall color or sofa on a yacht as easily as you would in an apartment.

However, I would say warm interiors in light colors are now favored to an “overdecorated” scene. Soft materials, tones of whites and organic shapes for fresh yet contemporary aesthetic.

What do you foresee as the future in yacht design?

Yacht use has evolved over the years and so have yacht destinations. Some are now used for exploration and research, and traditional Med and Caribbean holidays are sometimes being replaced for skiing expeditions. That, and sustainability questions, will of course have an impact on the interior designs, especially on the materials chosen.
