Electa, an outstanding 125′ sloop built for exploring the world’s oceans
The luxury sail yacht Electa is a 38-mt very comfotable sloop and has a record for sailing across the oceans. Her Owner has carefully kept the 125 ft yacht for the last 22 years, sailing from the top of the world to the equator. The large sailing yacht has always been for private use only and run by the same yacht Captain. Built in 1990 by CCYD for her first Japanese Owner and previously named Mariya Uno, in 1999 she was purchased by his second and last European Owner and then renamed Il Doge. Having undergone an extensive yacht refit by Giorgetti & Magrini, the luxury 125 ft sloop finally became Electa under the same Owner. Her naval architecture was developed by Ron Holland Design, while the yacht interior design is a work of Tommaso Spadolini. The 1990 38-mt sail yacht Electa can accommodate 8 guests in 4 ample and cosy cabins located aft. The foredeck provides generous space for the galley, the yacht crew area and 2 crew cabins. In the same area, a large fridge allows a long stay at sea.
