Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) returns in a few weeks. The largest in-water boat show in the world, FLIBS showcases more world and U.S debuts than any other boat show in the country. From October 26-30, over 10,000 boat professionals, yacht clients and owners will take part in the show, which has an economic impact of almost $2 billion dollars.  

This year, over 1,000 brands will be exhibiting throughout the show and over 1,300 boats will be on display – making it a must-visit event.

New Yachts on Display at FLIBS 

Several high-profile ship builders will be at FLIBS and showcasing new vessels.

Horizon Yachts

A world debut for the Horizon Yacht tri-deck FD110 – the largest yacht from the shipyard’s fast displacement series – and an FD100 model.

Ocean Alexander Yachts

The Explorer yacht from Ocean Alexander 28E will be making her first American debut at FLIBS. A high-volume yacht, she boasts an Evan K Marshall interior design.

Sunseeker International

British builder Sunseeker will be unveiling the Sunseeker 90 Ocean and 88 Yacht to the American market.

Galeon Yachts 

A new yacht from Polish shipyard Galeon Yachts, the Galeon 800 Fly is a sporty, high-performance vessel that will be on display at FLIBS.

Mangusta – Oceanco Yachts

The flagship yacht from Mangusta’s long distance series, the Oceano 50 is set to make her U.S. debut at FLIBS.

Sunreef Yachts

Sunreef Yachts is the world’s leading manufacturer of catamarans and multi-hull vessels. The 80 Sunreef Power is seen as the shipyard’s ‘entry level’ vessel for newcomers into the market.  

CL Yachts 

A new yacht specifically tailored to the American market, the shipyard’s CLX96 will be on display. One of the newest builders present at the show, CL Yachts is an offshoot of Cheoy Lee yachts.

Sanlorenzo Yachts

Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo will be celebrating the American debut of the shipyard’s SP110 and the SL120A yachts.

Ferretti Yachts

Ferretti Yachts will be displaying a model from the new Ferretti 860 series. This new flybridge yacht made her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival and FLIBS will be the first time she is displayed in the US.

Yachts for Sale at FLIBS 

Over 1,000 vessels are on display at the show and many high-profile yachts are for sale, including: 

M/Y MOCA 

For sale with FGI Yachts, M/Y MOCA from Italian shipyard Benetti will be on display at FLIBS. 

M/Y DB9 

A stylish yacht from Palmer Johnson, M/Y DB9 is for sale with Worth Avenue Yachts and will be at the show.  

M/Y DOROTHEA III 

Built in 2007, M/Y DOROTHEA III is an explorer yacht from Cheoy Lee. She is listed for sale with Merle Woods and Associates.  

M/Y AT LAST 

With a recently reduced price, M/Y AT LAST is a classic Heesen Yacht listed for sale with Denison Yacht Sales. 

The AquaZone 

Attendees to FLIBS can get up close and personal at the event’s AquaZone, which is an interactive space to experience water sports toys and equipment. Presented by Nautical Ventures, it is a great place for owners, captains and clients to see demonstrations of new toys and equipment for yachts.

FLIBS Locations 

FLIBS is held at multiple locations in the Fort Lauderdale area:

  • the Broward County Convention Center,
  • the Bahia Mar Yachting Center,
  • Las Olas Marina, the
  • Hall of Fame Marina,
  • Pier 66 South,
  • Pier 66 Marina, and
  • the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina.
