Dubai International Boat Show Displays Stellar Lineup of Superyachts

Azimut superyacht. The Dubai International Boat Show was for the first time located at Dubai Harbor, the most expansive marina in the region that features 700 berths, including the city’s first marina dedicated to superyachts up to 160 meters in length.

Powerhouse of Yachting Superstars

This lends to a powerhouse of superyachts that were on display during this year’s show. With an all-star series of vessels that were on display at show, guests were treated to yachts from the Ferretti Group, Oceanco, Sanlorenzo, and more. 

Ferretti Group

Ferretti Group, the world-renowned Italian yacht builder, had four yachts on display including the Navetta 30m from Custom Line, 8X and 9X from Pershing; and the Riva 100 by Riva.

Sanlorenzo, the Italian yacht builder specializing in superyachts, also attended the show and displayed the SX88, that made its debut this year; the stunning superyacht accommodates up to eight guests and three crew and stands at 26.7 meters long.

“It’s good to be back and the new location at Dubai Harbour is beautiful,” said Luca Cristino, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Sanlorenzo Spa. “The Middle East market is growing massively, not only for local customers but for also for international buyers, and it also continues to draw a broader international audience.”

Oceanco

Oceanco displayed its super-sized 90-meter yacht KAIROS, while Middle East-based Gulf Craft exhibited, among others, its Majesty 120.

Other yacht builders on display included Princess, Sunreef, Lurssen, Azimut, and Benetti, which gave attendees and exhibitors alike a lot to stare at this year.
