On the golf course, players do their best to steer clear of the water, but off the green, many professional golfers fully embrace it. When they’re not perfecting their swing on land, some cast fishing poles like fly fisherman and Olympian Wyndham Clark. Other golfers, Tiger Woods for example, head for the ocean to spend time aboard luxurious yachts (many of which feature mini putting greens and eco-friendly golf balls that dissolve into fish food).

As The Masters, one of the sport’s most anticipated annual tournaments, takes place from April 10–13, YATCO takes a closer look at some of the stunning yachts owned or enjoyed by golf’s elite, including several Masters champions.
JUST CHILLIN – Dustin Johnson

LIV golfer and 2020 Masters champion Dustin Johnson is an avid fisherman, spending time on his yacht JUST CHILLIN when at home in Florida. Designed by Viking, the 90ft Sportfish has a galley with connected salon and can host up to 12 overnight guests between its full-beam primary cabin and five ensuite guest staterooms.
Johnson, son-in-law of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, made headlines after posting a photo aboard JUST CHILLIN with his two sons, Gretzky, the 2024 Stanley Cup champion NHL team, the Florida Panthers, and the iconic trophy.
Before he purchased his 90ft vessel, Johnson previously owned a 70ft 2014 Viking Sportfish with the same name and currently owns a Bahama 41 center console.

PRIVACY – Tiger Woods

As one of the most iconic names in golf, five-time Masters winner Tiger Woods often spends his down time out of the spotlight on his aptly named yacht, PRIVACY. This tri-deck superyacht has a top speed of 17kts and is run by nine crew. With interiors designed by Carol Williamson & Associates, she can host up to 10 guests in five beautiful cabins. PRIVACY boasts amenities such as a fully stocked gym, movie theatre, interior elevator, jacuzzi, and a variety of toys and tenders.
Woods often stays onboard his yacht during golf tournaments, including the Hero World Challenge held in support of his charity – TGR Foundation. The annual tournament takes place at Albany Marina, a luxury yacht club in New Providence, Bahamas co-founded by the golfer.
In a post-tournament interview, two-time Masters winner and reigning champion Scottie Scheffler expressed pride in supporting Tiger Woods and his foundation, noting that the Hero World Challenge is always an enjoyable event for its participants.

AUSSIE RULES – Greg Norman

Australian golf titan Greg Norman once owned a custom-built yacht named AUSSIE RULES. At the time it was built, the 288ft vessel was the world’s largest privately owned aluminum and steel composite yacht. The vessel operates with 16 crew and has six spacious cabins to accommodate up to 12 overnight guests. Standout features include a pool with swim-up bar, helipad, movie theatre, a 600-bottle wine cellar, and a vast collection of water toys as well as fishing and diving gear.

SEA BEAR – Jack Nicklaus

Golfing legend and six-time Masters winner Jack Nicklaus formerly owned the Westport 112 SEA BEAR, which he kept docked behind his home in Palm Beach, Florida. The yacht was sold in 2021 by Nicklaus’ grandson, yacht broker Charlie Nicklaus of C. Nicklaus Starling & Associates with an asking price of $6,550,000. Prior to purchasing the Westport 112, the golfer owned a 2005 Westport 130 of the same name, which debuted at Boat Asia 2012.

Designed by Jack Sarin Naval Architects with interiors by Westport, the motor yacht can carry eight guests in four double cabins. The peak attractions of this vessel include a fly bridge with a dining area and lounge space with a bar, fridge, ice maker, and grill as well as a sun pad and jacuzzi located on the sundeck.

WINNING DRIVE

- Year: 2012
Several golf pros have been invited aboard WINNING DRIVE, the yacht owned by Steve Bisciotti, owner of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. After the 2017 Masters, golfers Rickie Fowler, Smylie Kaufman, Justin Thomas, and 2015 Masters champion Jordan Spieth spent time aboard the yacht at Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club in the Bahamas. Social media was buzzing with clips showing the group jumping from the yacht’s top deck. During their post-tournament spring break trip, dubbed “SB2k17,” the golfers also made sure to play a round on the Club’s ocean-side course.
Designed by Gregory Marshall, this Westport can cruise with 10 guests in five staterooms and is operated by six crew plus a captain. Similar sized Westport vessels currently listed for sale on YATCO have prices ranging from $6,426,166-$22,900,000 million.
