The Monaco Yacht Show 2022 is without a doubt, one of the most notable events in the yachting calendar held in the prestigious yachting town of Monaco. It brings together 1000s of industry professionals, yacht owners, crew and business people over the course of four or five days to learn what is the latest in the industry and which boats are for sale. And to catch up with industry news. This year, the event will take place from the 28th of September to the 1st of October.
Yachts on display at Monaco Yacht Show
This year, there are several high-profile yachts for sale that will be in the harbor. The Monaco Yacht Show has recently announced the lineup of yachts that will be present throughout the show.
Sailing Yachts Debut
There will be four new sailing yachts making their debut at the show, 27.7m ClubSwan 80 and 31.05m Swan 98 from Nautor’s Swan, 35m SORVIND by Southern Wind shipyard, and 24m sailing catamaran Sunreef 80 ECO. In the dedicated sailing area, S/Y BLUSH, S/Y BORKUMRIFF IV, and S/Y TWIZZLE will also be on display at Monaco Yacht Show.
Motor Yachts Debut
Several shipyards will be debuting their latest motor yachts, the new Benetti 65m TRIUMPH will be on display, CRN and Omega Architects will present their latest yacht 62m RIO, as well as the 60m custom yacht LUSINE from Heesen. Currently, the largest yacht at Monaco Yacht Show will be 115m AHPO from Lürssen.
The Sustainability Hub
In recent years, Monaco Yacht Show has made a concerted effort to educate and inform the industry on sustainable initiatives that are positively changing the yachting world.
As an industry that depends on the health of the oceans for its survival, it is imperative that those in attendance understand how important it is to tackle issues of sustainability.
This September, the show will unveil its Sustainability Hub, which will exhibit innovative eco-friendly solutions and start-ups working on sustainable alternatives for the yachting world. All the companies exhibiting are approved by the WaterRevolution Foundation.
