A Legacy Continues: The 7th TYBA Yacht Charter Show Returns to Marmaris

TYBA charter show

Set along the storied coastline of the Turkish Riviera, the 7th TYBA Yacht Charter Show will return to Marmaris from 7-11 May 2026, welcoming the international charter community to one of the Mediterranean’s most enduring yachting destinations.

Hosted at Marmaris Muttas Marina, the show brings together a distinguished selection of charter yachts, alongside the brokers, central agents, and industry professionals who shape the global charter market.

YATCO joins again as official media partner, further supporting the show’s international reach and industry visibility. Representing YATCO on site, Gabriela Yanakieva and Edita Vasiljevic will once again attend, connecting with partners and the wider charter community throughout the event.

Nearly Half a Century of Charter Heritage

Few events in the industry carry a history as rich as Marmaris. The origins of the show date back to 1979, when Jim and Jill Anderson established the first charter yacht exhibition in the region—an initiative that would go on to define Marmaris as a cornerstone of the Eastern Mediterranean charter landscape.

Today, under the stewardship of the Turkish Yacht Brokers Association (TYBA), the show stands as the second-oldest charter yacht show in the world, following Antigua, and remains a testament to the longevity and resilience of the charter industry.

The Setting: Marmaris

Framed by pine-covered hills and the calm, sheltered waters of the Aegean, Marmaris offers a setting that is both vibrant and deeply authentic. During the show, the town comes alive with a distinct energy. Days are spent onboard, walking the docks and engaging with crews, while evenings unfold across waterfront restaurants and terraces, where conversation continues long after the sun sets.

A Platform for Today’s Charter Market

The TYBA Yacht Charter Show remains a key moment in the charter calendar, offering brokers the opportunity to experience yachts firsthand, an essential element in understanding not only the vessel, but the crew, the service, and the story behind each charter experience.

It is here that the nuances of the market are explored, from evolving client expectations to operational excellence, all within an environment designed for genuine interaction rather than exhibition alone.
