Event Preview: Cannes Yachting Festival

The Cannes Yachting Festival returns from 6 – 11 September. Thanks to its location in the heart of the French Riviera, the yacht show is a hub for yacht industry professionals, boat builders, brokerage houses, and yacht owners. The event displays almost 600 boats, including motor yachts, superyachts, catamarans, tenders, and sailing yachts. 

The boats displayed at the Cannes Yachting Festival range from 3m – 50m. Vieux Port is one of the finest harbors in the heart of Cannes and will be where visitors can find the largest yachts on display and Port Canto is home to the yacht show’s sailing area. The show also has a Luxury Gallery and a dedicated Yacht Brokerage space

Presenting Brand New Yacht Models and Latest Yacht Advancements

As one of the premier industry shows in the calendar, many yacht builders use the Cannes Yachting Festival as an opportunity to unveil brand new models or highlight technological advancements. The organizers expect that there will be over 160 previews or launches of new models at the show

Many yacht builders use the Cannes Yachting Festival as an opportunity to unveil brand new models or highlight technological advancements. The organizers expect that there will be over 160 previews or launches of new models at the show. 

Iguana Yachts will have a large presence at Cannes and will be displaying the Iguana Commuter yacht and the Iguana X100. The yacht builder is also set to unveil a new electronic, eco-friendly vessel. If attendees are interested in sustainable yachting options, the SILENT 60 catamaran from SILENT Yachts will be at the show, and Numarine Explorer Yachts is set to hold a press presentation that will unveil the shipyard’s new diesel-electric yacht. 

The first hull of the Grand Banks 85 will be on display for the first time at Cannes. A model that is designed to travel efficiently at 21 knots, the Grand Banks 85 will be the new flagship vessel of the brand. Other debuts of note include the performance yacht Otam 58 GTS, the Sirena 78 long-range cruising yacht and Capoforte’s single-edition model SX280i “Collezione”

Sunseeker will unveil two years, the 100 and the Predator 65 and Baglietto will debut two new vessels, 42m RUSH and its 38m V-Line model. The 102 Corsaro Superyacht from RIVA will be on display, as will the new 70 Sunreef Power, the 75 Navetta from Absolute Yachts, Custom Line’s new flagship CL 140, and two new Azimuts – the Grande 26m and the Grande 36m. The yacht show will also host the highly anticipated Byond 37, the explorer yacht from Benetti as well as the shipyard’s 34m Oasis
