Created to satisfy the need for speed without sacrificing environmental sustainability and onboard comfort, the new Baglietto Fast 48 is an all-aluminum motor yacht that has been optimized to install a parallel hybrid system that allows different propulsion modes in order to optimize consumption.
Powered by twin MTU engines, the Baglietto FAST 48 motor yacht will reach a top speed of 20 knots, and when speed is not the necessity, she can switch to her hybrid mode for a significant decrease in consumption. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, she bears the ideal resemblance to the stylistic features of the Baglietto Fast line, which is modern and aggressive. She presents a hybrid parallel propulsion system that offers five propulsion modes by pairing diesel engines and e-motors with diesel generators and lithium-ion batteries.
With a 5,600 nautical mile range in diesel-electric mode, she emits zero emissions at anchor for up to 9 consecutive hours (in full electric mode). The luxury motor yacht has the capacity to cruise on her lithium batteries at a limited speed for up to 210 minutes in full electric mode as well. Her interior layout blends the indoors and outdoors with full-height and fully opening windows. She features 3, fold-down swimming platforms that compose a large beach club, and also boasts a large forward pool with an ascending/descending flooring system.
