Garcia Shipyard was started in 1974 in the heart of Normandy, France, by two brothers who were metalworkers – Jean Louis and Jean Pierre Garcia – when they launched a bold 60 yachts.
Specializing in centerboard boats built of aluminum, the Garcia brothers built a strong reputation for constructing safe and efficient vessels. After 40 years of hard work and dedication, combined with listening closely to clients’ needs and wants, the yard has launched over 300 ocean cruising boats and have made a solid name for themselves. The company now builds a range of sailboats, including the Exploration 45, 52, and 60; and The Explocat 52, a sturdy catamaran, which is a dual-hulled version of the Exploration that combines speed, safety, comfort, autonomy, and performance. Their signature motor yacht, the GT54, is a trawler that blends autonomy, aesthetics, and comfort.
