Billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez wrapped up their lavish three-day wedding celebration in Venice last week. While the Amazon founder’s wedding, that reportedly cost between $46-55 million, caused quite the stir in the media, news sources estimate the lavish affair had around $1.1 billion in economic impact for the Italian city. The City of Water reserved 10% of their water taxis to transport the wedding guests between events, while the Port of Venice played host to an array of superyachts owned by some of the world’s elite.

In the days leading up to their wedding, KORU was anchored near its 250ft Damen Yachting support vessel, ABEONA, which was spotted receiving a helicopter that later transported the couple to Venice.
Believed to be the largest sailing yacht ever built, KORU commands global attention as a symbol of luxury and grandeur. Its exterior, designed by Dykstra Naval Architecture, boasts three towering masts, multiple decks, a pool on the aft deck, and seating on the bowsprit. The interiors, crafted by Mlinaric Henry & Zervudachi, are described as “timeless,” featuring natural wood and warm, neutral tones.
