Yacht Hull Three Design
Similar to her predecessors, COME TOGETHER and ENTOURAGE, this latest yacht hull also features an exterior yacht design by Espen Øino with recognizable geometric windows. Yacht interiors were completed by Winch Design with 830gt of space for up to 12 guests and 13 crewmembers. The spacious owner’s suite can be found on the main deck, with large windows and a 22ft private balcony, with full beam bathroom. The remaining four guest cabins with ensuites, reside on the Guest Deck beside the Beach Club. The Beach Club offers a swim platform, sauna, steam shower, lounge pads and space for water toy storage. Additional out of sight storage for two tenders is available on the foredeck.
Form and function drive the yacht design, without losing any of the luxurious comforts one would expect on a 197ft yacht. A large sundeck stretches an impressive 1,743 square feet complete with a jacuzzi, dining area, bar, outdoor kitchen, teppanyaki grill and a cinema set-up for movie nights alfresco. A helipad is also available which can be used as an additional sunbathing area or gym when not in use.
Looking to help reduce the carbon footprint, the Amels 60 comes equipped with an advanced hybrid propulsion system which reduces fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, while also protecting the lifespan of the generators and the main engines.
Joppe Osté, Project Manager at Damen Yachting, shares “This proven hybrid system currently offers the best solution to reduce harmful emissions, reduce noise and vibrations while benefiting from lower fuel and maintenance costs. It also allows you to cruise up to a certain speed without using the main engines, solely cruising on the generators.”
Along with the two Amels Limited Editions superyachts already delivered since 2019, the team has four others currently under construction are their yard.
