YATCO Returns as a Media Partner for the Dubai International Boat Show

For the second year running, YATCO, The Trusted Global Marketplace of Yachting, will partner with the Dubai International Boat Show, held from March 1 – 5, 2023. The largest boat show in the Middle East, the Dubai International Boat Show, has continued to grow in popularity with the yachting community.

“We are proud to reaffirm our partnership with the Dubai International Boat Show,” says YATCO founder and CEO Steven Myers. “Our technology platform and ability to unite the yachting industry in innovative ways align with the show’s mission to connect people and the ocean.”

The Dubai International Boat Show

The Middle East has an increasing interest in the superyacht and boat world, and several new developments and marinas reflect the region’s growing status as a yacht destination. The Dubai International Boat Show anticipates that over 1.5 billion AED ($408 million) worth of boats and yachts will be displayed throughout the event. Last year the show welcomed over 30,000 visitors across five days. There are several areas and activities for attendees to explore, including the Super Yacht Avenue, which will feature leading shipyards such as Feadship, Gulf Craft, and Sanlorenzo. There are also areas displaying watersports, supercars, and even a diving pool. There will also be equipment manufacturers and boat accessory providers participating in the event.

The Experiential Yachting Forum

The Dubai International Boat Show will host the second edition of the Experiential Yachting Forum. Over two days, the forum will host workshops and panel discussions with leading players in the yachting industry, owners, and representatives from luxury brands and government authorities to discuss the future of yachting.

The Middle Eastern Yachting Conference

The Middle Eastern Yachting Conference will also take place during the Dubai International Boat Show, where the theme is the ‘Winds of Change,’ an event that will look at reshaping the narrative and driving the conversation about the future of yachting in the Middle East.

New Technologies and Launches at the Dubai International Boat Show

There will be several technological innovations and launches at the show in 2023, including from leading yachting companies and thought leaders in innovation and technology. We are excited to see what will be unveiled this year, as announcements are being kept closely guarded.

In 2022, the Dubai show saw the launch of the brand new 660 Ava Series submarine from Triton and the premiere of folding fins by Exco. Several high-profile, exciting boats were also at the show, including the latest model Faro 5 Solar Set from Faro boats – the first fully autonomous 100% sustainable boating solution with a solar power charging dock. Motor Yacht Moonlight II is on display at the event. She is a high-profile charter yacht with accommodation for up to 36 guests across 18 cabins, available to charter with Fraser Yachts following an extensive refit in 2015.
