Stamas Yachts was founded in Tarpon Springs, Florida in 1952 and began by constructing its boats out of wood. Like many boat builders at the time, they advanced with technology, and eventually pioneered the construction of boats with fiberglass. Stamas yachts had many “firsts”, including innovations such as fiberglass inner liners and self-baiting cockpits. Stamas was also the first company to ever put a head under a center console boat. Company History


Established in 1952 in Tarpon Springs, FL, Stamas starting out building wooden boats, and then grew along with technology when it shifted its construction to fiberglass. Utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Design) to create its boats, Stamas ensures accuracy and consistency in its fit and finish of each boat it builds.

The yard constructs its Aegean Series of express cruisers from 32 to 39 feet for the avid angler, along with his or her family and crew. It also builds center console boats – its Tarpon Series, and its Aventura Series – both high-performance boats with the fisherman at top of mind.
