Established in 2004 and based in Hong Kong with facilities at ZhongShan port, Kingship Marine is the first and premier mega yacht builder in Asia to construct luxury yachts with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.
The shipyard was also the first to build yachts that are compliant to Lloyd’s and MCA in Asia. Awarded the Best Asian Motor Yacht Builder, the company has also been certified with an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance and Management System by Bureau Veritas. Kingship Marine was founded by Roger Liang, who has a life-long experience creating vessels, and became involved with renowned shipyard Baglietto in the 80s, and Green Bay Marine in Singapore in the 1990s. In his years at Baglietto, he gained invaluable skill and knowledge working with industry giants such as Giovanni Zuccon, Francesco Paszkowski and the late Jon Bannenberg. It was this experience that fueled his passion for building high quality in yachts in Asia. Notable yachts in the Kingship Marine fleet include the Magellan 110, the Expedition 110, and the Columbus 90. The yard also completed refits and builds commercial vessels.
