Company History
Founded in 1965 in Taiwan by C.Y. Chen, an avid sailor, Hampton Yachts has launched over 2,000 hulls. The company started out building sailboats, but when the decline in need for such yachts began, the company ventured into building motor yachts; their flagship yachts are the Endurance long-range cruiser and the Hampton coastal pilothouse. Today, the tradition of true commitment to quality and design has been taken over by his son, Jeff Chen. The yard builds its yachts in its own facilities with over 200 dedicated craftsmen and women, many with over 20 years of experience in the boat building realm.
