Dutch shipyard, Oceanco has welcomed its latest new construction project to their outfitting facilities. The 364ft (111m) Y726 was transported via the Oude Maas River from Oceanco’s first-phase construction facilities in Zwijndrecht to its outfitting facilities in Alblasserdam. This is the final stage of construction for Y726 before the launch, sea trials and ultimate delivery. Unique to this project, Rotterdam-based graffiti artist I AM EELCO was hired to create a design along the ship’s exterior, adding a playful splash of color to the white yacht.

Y726 features naval architecture by Lateral in collaboration with Oceanco’s in-house team, exterior designs by Espen Øino International and warm interiors by Mark Berryman Design. A total of 28 guests can be accommodated with space for 34 crew members.
Oceanco’s Project Director, Edske Smit shares, “We are looking forward to getting started on the next phase of Y726’s construction in the New Year. There is a very collaborative spirit on the project, and she promises to be a spectacular addition to the Oceanco fleet once delivered. We are grateful for the positive partnership that has developed among everyone involved, including the co-makers and owner’s team.”
Special design notes include a winter garden, outdoor cinema, private owner’s area with jacuzzi and swimming pool on the main deck aft, gym, spa with sauna and steam room, beach lounge and large swimming platform.
