Lürssen’s Project Jag Hits the Water in Germany

German superyacht builder, Lürssen has released images of their 400ft (122m) giga yacht, Project Jag as it was launched and hit the water outside of their Rendsburg facility. The yacht was sold in 2019 by Moran Yacht & Ship to a repeat client who is upgrading from their current 315ft (96m) Lürssen yacht.

Rumored to be owned by the Jacksonville Jaguars owner, billionaire, Shahid Khan, there is a very distinct jaguar built into the bowsprit (similar to their previous yacht, KISMET).

With exterior yacht designs by Nuvolari Lenard and yacht interiors by Reymond Langton, Project Jag will have space for up to 20 guests in 11 staterooms, and an impressive yacht crew of 40.

While most details remain under wraps for now, the yacht has a few noteworthy features – an abundance of deck space to embrace the outdoors, a helipad, a swimming pool, and an elevator.
