Arcon Yachts Monaco Crafts Bespoke Heesen Yacht with Luxurious Interiors
Arcon Yachts Monaco was responsible for the sale of the vessel in addition to the project’s management. The yacht’s owners were fully involved in the project, working closely with Heesen’s engineering department and Luca Dini’s Design and Architecture team. The collaboration resulted in a motor yacht completely bespoke to the owners’ lifestyle with an emphasis on ultimate relaxation during extended periods onboard.
Interior yacht design features include an atrium that spans three decks with hand-blown glass by John Pomp and hand-sculpted metal light fixtures. The yacht interior is accented with amazonite marble, wood paneling, bronze metal accents, leather, and a variety of fabrics. Fully outfitted bars are on the main deck and sky lounge for guest enjoyment.
Eric Molegraaf, Heesen Project Manager, stated, “Arcon’s team is highly experienced, having worked on several complex projects with our shipyard, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and the shipyard. Silvia Margutti of Luca Dini Design and Architecture understands our engineering and construction methods and translates the client’s wishes into beautiful designs.”

SERENA: A Custom Superyacht Tailored to Owner’s Vision
Those involved in the project had glowing reviews of their experience collaborating with SERENA’s owners. Said Molegraaf, “The owner’s clear ideas on the yacht’s intended use, their knowledge of life at sea, and their awareness of their needs made decision-making easy and serene.”
Richard Kaye of Arcon Yachts Monaco continued, “The client’s early involvement allowed us to tailor the yacht to their lifestyle, adding unique design elements and technical improvements. Serena is special within the boundaries of building a superyacht on a proven platform, offering a personal touch while benefiting from a reliable base.”
SERENA will have 5 luxurious staterooms for up to 12 guests. The main deck will host the full-beam owner’s cabin which features a veranda, lounge and office space, and “his and hers” walk-in closets. Guest staterooms are on the lower deck with two double-bed cabins and two cabins with twin and Pullman beds. A gym on the bridge deck can be retrofitted into an additional cabin to accommodate more guests.
