Damen Yachting has recently welcomed two new Amels vessels to their Vlissingen, Netherlands shipyard facilities. Both superyachts, from the Amels 60 and Amels 80 lines, are entering the outfitting phase and expected to be delivered in 2027.

Amels 60
The Amels 60 arrived at the shipyard from the Damen Yachting hull building facility in Gdynia, Poland. The naval architecture of this vessel is credited to Damen Yachting with exteriors designed by Espen Øino. Laura Sessa, who has previously worked with Amels, designed the custom interior – the first Amels 60 collaboration.
Joppe Osté, Damen Yachting Project Manager for this Amels 60, expressed, “My team, our co-makers and I are excited to start the outfitting stage of this superyacht and look forward to working with Laura Sessa’s team again given their extensive experience with the Amels Limited Editions fleet.”
Currently, the Amels 60 fleet is comprised of seven superyachts, which Damen Yachting describes as “charter-ready, eco-smart, and timeless.” The 197ft/60m vessel is staffed by 12 crew plus a captain and can host up to 12 guests.

Amels 80
After arriving to the Netherlands from Damen Yachting’s hull building facility in Galatz, Romania, the Amels 80 has begun her extensive outfitting process. The superyacht measures 261ft/80m (79.8m to be precise) with interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, exteriors by exteriors designed by Espen Øino, and naval architecture by Damen Yachting. This striking yacht can welcome up to 14 guests onboard and operates with 20 crew plus a captain.
Said Damen Yachting Project Manager Danker Rijk, “After an impressive launch in our Galatz shipyard in Romania, we are delighted to welcome this Amels 80 to our yard in Vlissingen to commence the outfitting phase. This is an exciting milestone and step towards delivering another exceptional yacht on schedule for 2027.”
