Damen Yachting has confirmed that the outfitting phase has begun for a new Amels 60. Hull number 8, first introduced in 2019, recently arrived in the Netherlands and will be outfitted in Damen Yachting’s principal shipyard.

In addition to Hull Number 6008’s arrival, the shipyard has also had one launch and a delivery in recent weeks. This is the second 197ft/60m vessel in the series, following the launch of hull number 6006.

This vessel’s exterior design is credited to Espen Øino. Harrison Eidsgaard design studio developed the custom interiors and designed the striking signature geometric windows, drawing “inspiration from a modern and smart approach” resulting in “a serene and relaxed ambiance, ensuring an exceptional onboard experience.”
The 850T yacht will host up to 12 guests and run with 12 crew and a captain. The vessel is expected to be delivered in 2025.
