Italian shipyard Custom Line Yachts – a Ferretti brand – has revealed details of its new 50m (164ft) superyacht. The new flagship vessel of its Navetta line is fully aluminum with an exterior yacht design by Studio Salvetti. A sub-500 GT motor yacht, the Navetta 50 will be noticeably light with a predicted 4,000 nautical mile cruising range. The large yacht will be powered by twin CAT engines.

Key features include an owner’s suite on the upper deck for utmost privacy and a private adjoining al fresco lounge. The shipyard describes the new vessel as having “A refined and sophisticated spirit that points to the brand’s character, values, and heritage.” She will offer accommodation for 10 guests and nine crew.

The tri-deck superyacht has several exterior decks to enjoy, which leads the shipyard to call the yacht an ‘on-water terrace’. In keeping with many new build yacht designs of late, the Navetta 50 Project has a generous beach club to allow for seamless access to the water. This area of the luxury yacht is directly connected to the main aft deck, creating a private lounge space for guests to enjoy.

ACPV Architects is the design team behind the yacht interior of the new flagship, and the early photographs released by the shipyard illustrate the open-plan, contemporary yacht design of the staterooms and communal spaces, illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows.

In a statement to the press, Custom Line expressed that this vessel will be “an object of desire for so many owners because it fully expresses the unique features of a cruising yacht that delivers unrivalled style, comfort, and wellbeing on board.”
