Heesen Yachts Launches YN 19755, 55m M/Y RELIANCE

Heesen Yachts celebrates the successful launch of its latest motor yacht YN 19755. Formerly known as Project Gemini, the yacht will now be called 55m M/Y RELIANCE and is set to be delivered later on this year.

Heesen’s innovative approach to building on spec allowed the clients to join the build process 15 months into construction but still make a number of fundamental changes. The owners requested several changes to personalize the yacht, such as a refreshed layout for the master bathroom and windows in the transom door to allow natural light into the beach club. The owners also requested shark gray hull paint.

Yacht broker Arcon Yachts introduced the client to Heesen Yachts and reports on a positive working relationship with the shipyard, praising the efficient construction of the 55m motor yacht.

“We are pleased that Heesen was able to meet yet another important milestone in the construction of this 55-meter. The experience of the shipyard in the construction of its Series yachts is an awesome guarantee for our clients. Time is priceless for our customers,” said Richard Kaye of Arcon Yachts in a statement to the press. “Consequently, for us as the broker, it is invaluable that the shipyard can stick to the schedule. It reinforces our credibility and reassures the client about their choice.”

MY RELIANCE is the first collaboration between the Dutch shipyard and Luca Dini Design and Architecture. The motor yacht will accommodate twelve guests across six staterooms, including an impressive 82-square-meter owners’ apartment on the main deck.

MY RELIANCE is due for delivery in Fall 2022 and will join the exclusive yacht charter fleet of Arcon Yachts.
