Camper & Nicholsons has announced the successful launch of 78’ 7” (24m) Codecasa built yacht, VERO – a project sold by Carmen Lau, Senior Advisor at Camper & Nicholsons.
Designed by Luca Dina Design & Architecture, VERO was sold to an Asian client in 2021. The New Build team at Camper & Nichoslons, overseen by Sara Maggi as Project Manager, oversaw the build, resulting in a stylish vessel with cutting edge technology and advanced functionality.
“It was an exciting challenge to achieve the distinctive features of a superyacht in a smaller-sized vessel. With our Project Manager Sara Maggi on site throughout the two-year build and collaborating closely with the builder and buyer’s teams, we were able to deliver a highly functional and elegant motor yacht. It was a pleasure to work with this family-run shipyard and their dedicated team to create such an authentic yacht.”
Daniela Duck, Head of New Build Division, Camper & Nicholsons
Powered by two MAN D2862LE426 V12 engines of 1,550 hp, VERO can reach a top speed of 25 knots and a range of over 2,000nm while cruising at 9 knots. VERO comes equipped with a full custom aluminum tender; while the interior features a large saloon lounge and owner’s cabin on the main deck. Three additional guest cabins are found on the lower deck, as well as the two cabins for yacht crew, and an aft beach club.
“VERO is truly extraordinary, blending vintage charm with modern elegance through its use of mahogany, stainless steel, and a touch of 60s chic. The client fell in love with this project from the very start. We eagerly await the arrival of this exceptional gem in Asia, confident that she will captivate the attention of anyone who sees her.”
Carmen Lau, Senior Advisor of Camper & Nicholsons Asia
While Ennio Buonomo, CEO, Cantieri Navali Codecasa shares, “This yacht is a ‘one off’. I would like to thank our builder’s team, headed by the project manager Roberto Dalle Mura and the Camper & Nicholsons New Build team for their professionalism. This is a unique yacht and it is going to the East!”
Vero was launched today on December 18th at the Codecasa shipyard in Viareggio, with delivery scheduled for spring 2024.
