Turkish shipyard, Bilgin Yachts, has released their latest 52m Model, the Bilgin 170. The 170ft model will feature a collaboration between exterior designer Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design, and an interior design by Hot Lab.
Evolution of the Yacht Brand
Building on the successful Bilgin 163 model, Emrecan Özgün created a larger and more traditional bow shape, allowing for larger and more spacious open decks, extended parking and storage areas for water toys and a sleek overall design.
Özgün shares on the design, “The layout of the Bilgin 170-I remains identical to its sibling models, ensuring familiarity and ease of use for customers. The primary goal during the design process was to optimize the 50-meter models, achieving a more sporty and masculine look while blending the design seamlessly to offer customers the ability to utilize both open and enclosed spaces under 500 gross tons. This meticulous focus on functionality and aesthetics has resulted in a yacht that truly stands out from the crowd.”
This elongated bridge deck aft, extended by one and a half meters creates a larger living space which offers guests an inviting and shaded area to relax and enjoy the views passing by.
On the lower deck, a spacious beach club is surrounded by windows so guests can enjoy a plethora of natural light even when all three doors are closed; while the extended swim platform offers an even greater connection to the sea. While the the Hot Lab design team kept the focus of the yacht interiors on luxury, comfort and elegance.

“Bilgin 170 is built on the experience gained from the successful 47 and 50-meter projects and combines elegance with timeless lines. The 499 GT yacht is able to accommodate up to 12 guests and a crew of nine. The first unit of the Bilgin 170 series is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2024, with a second unit due in early 2025.
