Azimut Debuts Two New Yacht Models at Cannes Yachting Festival

One of the most impressive features of the new Grande 36m is the 'infinity deck', which boasts a semi-walkaround upper deck with glass 'walls' that can be opened. This innovative design allows guests to enjoy the beauty of their cruising grounds while sheltered from the sun. The Grande 36m accommodates 10 guests across five well-appointed staterooms.

At the Cannes Yachting Festival, Italian shipyard Azimut presented two new models in its Grande line: the Grande 36m and the Grande 26m. These two new models join the three popular models the Grande 27m, Grande 32m, and 38m Grande Tri deck.

The Grande 36m and the Grande 26m both feature exterior yacht designs by Alberto Mancini with a yacht interior by Achille Salvagni.

The Grande 36m is set to produce much lower emissions than previous Azimut yachts, with a highly efficient structure crafted from carbon fiber. As a result, its weight has been reduced by almost 30 per cent.

The new Grande 26m is the smallest vessel in the Grande series but still offers an impressive number of features. The extendable deck space (called Deck2Deck by the shipyard) can be deployed to create an additional area for dining or socializing on board. As with the Grande 36m, the 26m model is built with carbon fiber to create a lightweight yacht with up to 20 per cent lower fuel consumption than similar models elsewhere on the market.
