At the Cannes Yachting Festival, the YATCO team sat down with yacht broker Candas Balci of BLC Yachts to discuss his company, his YATCO membership, and how the YATCO BOSS platform benefits him and his company.
How would you describe BLC Yachts and the vision behind your company?
After more than 10 years of experience in yachting, we founded BLC Yachts to give our clients 360 degrees of yachting services, including yacht sales and charter. We aim to bring a fresh and client-oriented approach to yachting with high-end international standards.
What is the main reason for you to choose YATCO?
Being a member of YATCO helps us reach our target of becoming a global brokerage company. How do you see Turkish yacht builders’ success on a global scale?
The yacht building industry in Turkey was always within the top 5 of the global order book, and the interest in Turkish brands has increased in the last few years. As a Turkish broker, we are proud to see our brands cruising in the South of France or Bahamas or exhibiting in Monaco or Cannes boat shows. When it comes to new build sales, it is nice to have them on the YATCO platform with updated information about delivery and prices. These projects also reach brokers worldwide, which is a significant advantage of YATCO.
