Paul West, trained in both wooden and fiberglass boat building, started West Bay Boats with his sons in Steuben, Maine, in the ‘80s. The custom-built West Bays motor boats come in two sizes: WB37 and WB31. Based on the classic down-east lobster boat hull, both models are versatile and fully self-sufficient. Their semi-displacement hulls and full keel make them fuel-efficient and safe for long-range coastal cruising.
