As a “proud member of the Viking family”, Valhalla Boatworks builds high-performance sportfishing yachts and center console boats with the strong influence of Viking Yachts’ quality. Founded by Viking co-founder Bill Healey and his grandson, and Don Gemmell in New Jersey, the team sought the advice of designer Michael Peters for its patented, double-stepped hull design. The Valhalla team grew to include the vice president of Viking’s design and engineering, Lonni Rutt, Dave Wilson, the design manager, Viking Mullica General Manager John Leek IV and Viking Southeast Sales Manager Ryan Higgins. Together with the support of Viking’s extensive experience and deep resources, they are all focused on creating superior center console boats that don’t sacrifice quality and value.
