The facilities total a 10,000 square meter area located at the Naval Industrial Complex of Guaruja, near the Port of Santos in Brazil. The company stands out as a company due to its in-house processes of carpentry and upholstery that come together in a vertical production process. 

The Okean shipyard itself spans a total of 280,000 square feet and is located in the city of Itajai, Santa Catarina. It currently boasts a 43,000 square foot structure, with two large expansions in progress that are planned for mid-2022. Located just a few kilometers from two large ports, the shipyard is close to the water and a local international airport.

HMY Yacht Sales launched the Okean 50 Flybridge Motor Yacht in 2017 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to great acclaim and continues to promote and sell its other models. Other models that HMY Yacht Sales represents for the shipyard are the Okean 50X, the 55 Sport, the 55 Coupe, and its newest 80-foot motor yacht as well as the 68-foot Widebody Motor Yacht. 

Yacht Design

Paolo Ferragni, the award-winning designer, oversees each build from start to finish. He offers highly coveted Italian design and brings over 15 years of experience to Okean. Paolo has also brought his excellent Italian design skills to major international shipyards and has ascertained many accolades. He works in close collaboration with the yard, creating an immersive experience for all involved. Ferragni is responsible for the Okean 50 yacht design, which offers the Yachts’ Duo Mode. Duo Mode performance, according to company is its delivery of superb fuel efficiency, especially when the yacht is in full-displacement mode and combined with a speed of up to 25 knots.
