Company History

As one of Canada’s leading yacht builders founded in 1989, Neptunus Yachts has built over 175 semi-custom motor yachts that are not only offer contemporary styling and a perfectionist’s attention to detail, they set the standard for performance, maneuverability, dependability, safety – and luxury but are also stylish and dependable. With a slew of repeat yacht owners, these vessels are highly popular and have a dedicated following. The yard prides itself on working with top engineers, designers and architects and has seen its 6th year of CE Category A Certification.

Combining Quality and the Beauty and Craftsmanship of Customized Yachts

Believing in quality over quantity, Neptunus Yachts, Canada’s leading manufacturer of luxury motor yachts, builds about 15 boats a year at their 72,000-square-foot facility in St. Catharines, Ontario. There are three models ranging from 55 to 75 feet and, depending on the model, three versions – open flybridge, closed express and sky-lounge. Recognized for the strict quality control measures typically found in production line boats and the beauty and craftsmanship of completely customized yachts, Neptunus yachts offer the best of both worlds.

In an effort to satisfy their clients – the majority of whom are into leisurely, extended cruising – Neptunus designers devote significant space to entertainment areas. So, unlike most European yacht builders, Neptunus Yachts are big on galleys, because everyone knows you can’t entertain in style from a tiny galley. With everything from double sinks and Sub-Zero refrigerators to electric cooktops, dishwashers and tons of storage, Neptunus Yachts rule the sea when it comes to catering to clients who enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.

In 2015, Neptunus committed to making sure every yacht built would meet CE Category A – Ocean standards. This commitment to continuously improve the lineup and deliver the safest, most comfortable, stylish vessels possible is just one of many reasons Neptunus owners are loyal, repeat buyers.

750 Series features and highlights

One of the hallmarks of Neptunus yachts is their wide beam. The three models in the 750 Series (750SL, 750FX and 750F) have an 18-foot, 11-inch beam, resulting in wide, open layouts. Imagine the sweeping view from the almost 19-foot salon and how versatile the dining and sleeping arrangements (full-beam master, three staterooms, one crew cabin) are when you have that much room to play with. Designed for extended, comfortable cruising, each model in the 750 Series holds 1,450 gallons of fuel, has a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots.

750SL:

Enhancing the Neptunus 750SL’s contemporary profile is the climate-controlled skylounge. Complete with a curved stainless-steel staircase, the skylounge features a spacious custom-built helm station designed to house all the electronic and navigational instruments, hardware and gadgets a captain could wish for.

750FX:

Designed by the award-winning naval architect Gregory C. Marshall, the 750FX combines contemporary styling and craftsmanship with options galore, which is why no two Neptunus Yachts are alike. An opening sunroof and windows port and starboard give the 750FX the look and feel of a much larger yacht. Of course, the main highlight is the flybridge, which, depending on the model for sale, can either be open or fully enclosed for cruising in colder climes. Add to that covered and open teak deck areas for relaxing and entertaining and you and your family and friends are in for the ultimate cruising experience.

750F:

Just like its sister ships, the 750F’s interior layout is designed to take advantage of its wide beam. By placing the fully equipped galley on center, the architect created a natural flow and balance that heightens the yacht’s already spacious feel. The flybridge’s fully equipped helm is designed with comfort and camaraderie in mind. There are three custom helm chairs, an entertainment center, a C-shaped seating area and a carbon fiber hardtop for shade.

650 Series defining characteristics:

While approximately nine feet shorter than the 750 Series, the 650F and the 650E still live up to the Neptunus trademark: spacious, flowing layouts, maneuverability, performance and seaworthiness. Plus, as promised, they both meet the CE Category A – Ocean standard. With 1,000 and 1,100 gallons of fuel respectively, the Neptunus 650 Series has an estimated range of 550 nautical miles.

650E:

At 66 feet with a 16-foot, 7-inch beam, the Express model’s center of attention is the walk-around island on the aft deck. Guaranteed to be the yacht’s #1 socializing spot, there’s seating for six, a wet bar and BBQ, electric sunshade and beautiful, durable teak decking. With plenty of storage and the latest appliances, the galley is designed and equipped to easily handle the food and beverage demands of multiple guests. Interior design touches include ceramic and leather accents and elegant walnut grain furnishings in the three staterooms. The newly configured 2021 650E model, with all the creature comforts of home and a fast, but relaxing, cruising speed of 26 knots, is available now.

650F:

The 66-foot, 4-inch 650 Flybridge model is fast (30 knots top speed, 25 knots cruising) and supported by state-of-the-art navigation electronics, thrusters for stress-free docking and a yacht controller. Everywhere you turn there’s carefully planned and exquisitely appointed spaces: the flybridge has room for up to a dozen guests; the cockpit seats six; and the salon has a dining table for six as well as a fully integrated flat panel TV.

500 Series:

The 58-foot (17.6m) 580F and 50-foot (15.5m) 550E may be the smallest models in the Neptunus family, but the designers, engineers and craftsmen didn’t cut corners or economize on quality or amenities. Each of these semi-custom yachts capitalizes on the openness and seamless access a wide beam build delivers, including a full-beam master stateroom, a spacious salon with port and starboard seating and a galley with an amazing amount of countertop and storage space.

Skylight ports and windows that open add to the airiness of below-deck areas. Precision joinery, cherry and burl wood accents, designer fabrics, teak decking, state-of-the-art navigation and entertainment systems –– all the hallmarks of a Neptunus Yacht –– are onboard.

By the Numbers

The 58-foot 580 Flybridge beam measures 16 feet, 2 inches (5m). The 580F holds 820 gallons of fuel, has a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots, and comes in two or three cabin layouts.

The 55-foot 550 Express beam measures 15 feet, 7 inches (4.7m). The 550E holds 750 gallons of fuel, has a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 23 knots, and is available in two or three cabin configurations.

Both the 580F and 550E deliver exceptional performance, score high in all kinds of conditions, are exceptionally easy to handle and meet the CE Category A – Ocean standard.
