Established in 1974 by John Blooks and Rob Valdes, The Endeavour Yacht Corporation was an American boat builder based in Largo, Florida that specialized in the building of fiberglass sailboats. Although the company went out of business in 1986, by 1984 the company had 300 employees and was building 200 boats per year. Because of the recession in the early ‘80s, the company went into bankruptcy and was sold to Coastal Financial Corporation. But by 1988, the company was operating with only 105 employees, and producing only 50 yachts per year. After passing through several different owners, the company became the Endeavour Catamaran Corporation, and as of 2020, the company manufactures catamaran motorboats out of Clearwater, Florida.
