Sunreef Yachts has announced the sale of its second Sunreef 43m catamaran. A sailing vessel designed to be emissions-free, the 43m (141ft) ‘Eco’ yacht will offer completely silent cruising.
A very innovative, sustainable design, this vessel will have solar panels on her hull, superstructure, and Bimini top to provide the yacht with up to 60kWp of power. Built to optimize wind power, Eco has a 49m (160ft) mast, 1,000 sqm (10,764 sqft) of upwind sail area and 1,600 sqm (17,222 sqft) of downwind sailing area. Her multihull design ensures utmost stability while at anchor and underway.
Sunreef Yachts has positioned itself in the yacht market as a pioneering builder for eco-friendly vessels. The Eco yacht models have zero emissions and are equipped with electric engines powered by ultralight, custom-engineered battery banks that offer exceptional energy efficiency for long, vibration, and fume-free navigation.
The Eco vessel also delivers luxurious living space for her guests. She has a sizable aft garage that can fit two tenders, water toys and inflatables, as well as an impressive beach club with fold down balconies for on-the-water living. Al fresco dining is found on her aft deck, while ample sunbathing spots are located forward. The Eco can host 12 overnight guests.
