Pretty soon, we will make way for a new floating paradise to dominate our seas – SOMNIO, now in build, is unveiling a new method to superyacht ownership. The “yacht liner” will boast 39 luxurious apartments and will cruise the world with a private community of owners.
With a gross tonnage of 33,500GRT, SOMNIO will be 222 meters long, and will benefit from the aid of well-known shipyard Fincantieri, the parent company of VARD, the selected yacht builder, and one of the globe’s celebrated builders of specialized yachts.
Dubbed the world’s first “yacht liner”, SOMNIO will be delivered in 2024 by the Norwegian shipyard VARD, and stands to be one of the most stunning modern yachts to be floating on the water. Tillberg Design of Sweden, Winch Design, from the United Kingdom, and Luttenberger Design have all been tapped for the project. They are creating a super vessel that will boast the best of amenities and will be finished to the utmost in high standards and quality. Owners will be working with the design teams to customize their own apartments, which will be finished to the nines. They will be able to select room configurations as well materials, furniture, lighting, and more details that will ensure a home away from home feeling. In addition to working with these world-class design teams, owners will also be working with their own interior décor team of choice.
