The leading Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has announced several adjustments to its senior management team and Board of Directors.
Marco Viti who served as President of the Yacht Business Unit at Sanlorenzo for over 30 years will reduce his commitment to the day-to-day operations of the company. Viti will remain as Director of the new Board of Directors. “I have spent almost two-thirds of my life at Sanlorenzo and I had the honor of taking part in its incessant and stunning growth, which led the company to be a radiant example in the world yachting scene. An exciting and all-encompassing journey that I would do again without hesitation. I intend to continue in a non-operational role that allows me to cultivate other activities that I have been wanting to devote more energy to,” said Marco Viti about the decision.

Sanlorenzo’s production is broken down into three divisions: the Yacht Division – composite yachts between 24 and 38 meters; the Superyacht Division – superyachts constructed from aluminum and steel between 40 and 72 meters, and the Bluegame Division – sport utility yachts between 13 and 23 meters.
The evolution of Sanlorenzo’s senior team elevates many trusted employees at the shipyard. Tommaso Vincenzi, former Vice-President of the Yacht Business Unit will now assume the position of President. The Yacht and Superyacht Business areas of the company are now under a newly formed ‘General Management’ facet of the company, directed by Ferruccio Rossi, the former President of the Superyacht Business Unit. This sector will also look after research and development, as well as information technology. The Bluegame Business Unit, the High-End Services Division, and the corporate functions of Sustainability and Marketing are now entrusted to Carla Demaria.
