EXTRA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, presented the evolution of their line at the Cannes Yachting Festival last week, with the new X90 Fast and X98 RPH models.

The X90 Fast comprises a two-deck sports model, which builds on the FAST line, while the X98 RPH is a two and a half deck design, creating the evolution of the X98 footer. Hot Lab studio in Milan will be responsible for the updated designs on EXTRA Yachts’ new range of yachts.

X90 Fast Model
Building on the 76, 86, 88 and 99 models, the X90 Fast will now be the sportiest and most compact model offered by the EXTRA team. Sporting a spacious living area inside with ample room across her decks, that includes a spacious sundeck and windows that slide into the hull.
In her 90ft range, there are four double cabins with ensuites, and a large owner’s cabin sitting amidships, with a 13ft wide beam creating spacious and comfortable living quarters for the owner and their guests. The crew of four have comfortable accommodation across two cabins and private bathrooms.
The X90 Fast is capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots thanks to three IPS 1350 Volvo Penta engines. While cruising at a steady 12 knots, the X90 Fast will have a range of 1,000 nautical miles.
X98 RPH Model
With the X98 RPH model EXTRA Yachts is building off of her predecessors, while creating something unique and modern for the most discerning owners. Spanning across two and a half decks, the X98 RPH offers an abundance of space in her 98ft thanks to a “cunning design solution that allowed Hot Lab to design an elegant and neat looking boat which is also endowed with large indoor and outdoor living space otherwise unattainable on a traditional two-deck model.”
The main deck is home to the large owner’s cabin situated forward, while the lower deck features an additional four cabins with ensuites. Her yacht crew of four have access to two large cabins with ensuites below deck.
The X98 RPH also runs on three IPS 1350 Volvo Penta engines of 1000 hp each, giving the yacht a top speed of 28 knots, with a range of 1,500 nautical miles while cruising at 12 knots.
The X90 Fast is already under construction, with plans to present at the 2024 boat shows.
