Luca Mansueto, chef onboard M/Y SEVEN SINS, attended the Monaco Grand Prix as crew for the first time this year, saying it was the busiest and most exciting charter of his career thus far. Working together with Komo, a local catering company, the onboard chefs prepared and served food for over 800 guests throughout the weekend. Mansueto said the energy throughout the race weekend was “unmatched – fast cars during the day and parties all night long… it doesn’t get much better than that!”

SEVEN SINS hosted a jungle themed party on Saturday night and their biggest event of the week Sunday night featuring DJ Rampa. However, the featured attraction onboard was a Bugatti displayed on the vessel’s aft deck. The vision of Tom Claeren, this stunning automotive display was brought to life after two weeks of planning and gaining the approval from one of San Lorenzo’s naval architects. Claeren also recruited artist Joseph Klibansky to install several of his sculptures onboard to solidify SEVEN SINS as the most decorated yacht in Monaco.

Broker Heather Hatcher of  IYC has represented LOON since their inaugural season as a 150ft/46m yacht in 2017. Says Hatcher, “The program has evolved over the years to what is now one of the most recognizable and well-known yachts on the charter market.” The yacht has quite an impressive social media following with 143k subscribers on YouTube and 161k on Instagram. This was LOON’s second year at the Grand Prix (the vessel attended in 2023 as the 180ft Newcastle before the current vessel was acquired).

Because of the Grand Prix’s popularity, yacht charters for the event are typically booked 8-12 months in advance.

“It’s a real highlight of the year to kick off the summer season with a Monaco Grand Prix charter,” says Hatcher. “There is nothing better than seeing one of the most popular yachts on the market sitting trackside at the biggest event of the year… and LOON is proud to be a part of it.”

S7 captain Daryn Dalton was able to travel to Monaco and experience the race with TWW Yachts.

Said Dalton, “It was my first Monaco GP and I am hooked! I was fortunate enough to watch from the TWW balcony where we experienced [the] tight start and opening crash.” Noting that the atmosphere of the event was electric, the captain continued, “Truly, I believe [the race is] something you have to experience to understand.”

The excitement is already building for another show-stopping race weekend in 2025!
