Moonen Yachts Sells New 36M Superyacht

The renowned, Netherlands-based shipyard Moonen, has started the year off right by selling its 36-meter Moonen Martinique, YN201. As the fourth hull to be built on the Martinique platform, YN201 is due for delivery in late 2022 and will integrate all the exclusive features that her sister ships before her offered.

The highly stylized design of the Martinique has been met with much acclaim, as she features exterior design by Dutch designer Rene van der Velden, and naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design. Blurring the lines between the outdoors and inside, her interior design will be executed by Andreas Martin-Lof Arkitekter to create a truly customized Scandinavian design. Leading the owner’s team is A2B Marine projects, with Christian Poorte as the owner’s representative.

The superyacht accommodates a total of twelve guests who will be looked after by seven crew members with the utmost in service and comfort levels. Among the many features of the yacht, she includes a full-beam master suite, as well as large guest staterooms and roomy crew cabins.

At the owner’s request, the steel aluminum superyacht will also feature a hydraulic swim platform that will offer easy access to the water from the aft portion of the yacht – ideal when wearing SCUBA gear. She will also feature a vast sun deck totaling 65m2, and equipped with a bar and grill, providing her owners and guests with an extra 2.5 meters of space onboard.

“Having looked at multiple shipyards and what they had to offer, the choice to choose Moonen was simple. A beautiful boat with very high build quality, smart design and layout. Add to that a great team and the decision was easy. I can’t wait to see the final product. ” – Owner YN201
