Built for global cruising and fearless adventure, PARA BELLUM marries rugged ocean-going performance with refined Italian style. From its carbon fiber infinity pool and panoramic sun deck jacuzzi to its 136-square-meter beach club, this yacht delivers on every front—comfort, capability, and luxury.
Meet the Crew and Layout
Onno Ebbens: “So we went down to see PARA BELLUM, and we found the Bosun on board. Gary’s your name, right?
Gary: “That is correct, yes. I’m South African and we have nine crew on board—Serbian, South African, UK… all nationalities. It’s a really great team. Everyone comes together beautifully.”
Gary: “The name ‘Parabellum’ comes from the Greek god Caesar. As for toys, we’ve got seabobs, kayaks, jet skis, and a slide that connects to the stern. We also have an extendable floating deck, great for guests to enjoy the water.”
Main Deck Highlights
Gary: “Let’s go upstairs. One of the highlights is our carbon fiber infinity pool—it’s a unique feature on a Sanlorenzo main deck. There’s also a lounge area and a crane that lifts the chase tender. When not in use, the pool platform encloses for safety and convenience. It even acts as a swim ladder or kids’ jump platform. Plus, there’s an outdoor shower nearby.”
Onno: “And you accommodate 10 guests, right?”
Gary: “Yes, but we can expand to 12. There are four guest cabins. And the chef is amazing. Any nationality, any taste. The food is just top tier. Couldn’t be happier.”
Entertaining Spaces and Amenities
Gary: “On the main deck, we have a full bar with an ice maker to keep the drinks flowing. On the bridge deck, there’s another bar, a long dining table, and plenty of seating. Great for groups.”
Onno: “Looks like I’m getting a drink. Spoiled!”
Gary: “Up the stairs to the sun deck, you’ll find more seating, a barbecue (which not many yachts have), and of course—another ice maker. We’ve got dual tables and a jacuzzi. So yes, infinity pool and jacuzzi.”
Where to Next?
Gary: “The yacht is currently available for charter in Italy. After this event, we’re headed to La Spezia for a quick refit and then getting ready for charter. Unless, of course, someone buys her—she’s for sale, too.”
Gary: “We’ve got two jet skis and a man-overboard tender. On both sides of the bridge are wing stations. There’s a pantry, and one of my favorite features—a dumbwaiter to send up drinks and food.”
Interior Tour: Sky Lounge & Main Salon
Gary: “This is our sky lounge, with a mirror TV. Through here is the main salon—quite spacious for a 47-meter. You’ll notice the artwork: these are from the yacht’s build in 2023. Over here, this coin is an original Caesar coin—one of our signature touches.”
Gary: “This terrace is fully automatic—the rails go down and close up. It’s perfect for having a drink at sunrise or sunset. And inside, there’s a storage area with a safe and an ensuite bathroom. It’s one of the hidden gems of the boat, no doubt.”
