Swiss Sustainable Yachts: AQUON ONE Catamaran

Blending Swiss and German engineering with sleek Italian design, the new power catamaran AQUON ONE is a pioneering yacht in hydrogen fuel cell technology.  The yacht produces its own energy through solar power, making the vessel completely self-sufficient and with zero-emissions while operating. Along with smart-controlled devices, the yacht interior is made up of natural and renewable materials such as bamboo and cork. She is 63 feet (19.48m) long, with an exceptionally wide beam of 31.2 feet (9.49m).

A Smart Catamaran with Superyacht Quality

The idea was to create a stunningly styled and smart catamaran with superyacht quality finishes and equipment, so guests and owners can simply focus on a relaxing time at sea with family and friends. The main deck resembles an open loft with a large living space, a fully equipped kitchen, and two large outdoor terraces. The lower deck houses 4 staterooms – each with an en suite and plenty of storage. Space for the crew is also on this deck.

The spacious flybridge also acts as a private roof terrace with open seating aft that comfortably accommodates 12 guests for al fresco dining around a large table. The space also features a bar and state-of-the-art kitchen gear along with a grill/cooking station.

AQUON One will be able to cruise most efficiently at 6-8 knots, with a maximum speed of 16 knots.

The New, Hydrogen-Powered CORELLIAN 110 Catamaran

Gracefully moving forward with technological advancements that better the environment, the new Corellian 110 catamaran is a hydrogen-powered concept looking to be built for a new, pioneering owner. Designed by Alexandre Thiriat, the power-cat is 110 feet (33.5m) long, with amenities that promote sea life off the grid. The zero-emission yacht will be built with recyclable aluminum for less drag and more efficient sailing, and also features solar panels to help power her electrical necessities. The Corellian 110 can also be fitted with innovative sails on a carbon rig, should a client prefer.
