Feadship achieved a new milestone on February 23, 2025, when Project 714 was revealed at the company’s Aalsmeer, Netherlands facility. Under construction since 2021, this striking yacht is now set for its final outfitting and sea trials, marking the beginning of a standout new member for the Feadship fleet.

Project 714 displays exterior design by RWD, featuring sleek curves and a bold navy blue hull that exudes elegance and style. In line with Feadship’s esteemed reputation, the impressive 262ft 4in (79.95m) vessel was thoughtfully designed to offer both beauty and superior performance on the water. The naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects guarantees that her performance is as impressive as her striking appearance.
The yacht demonstrates advanced technology, featuring a propulsion system created through the Feadship Advanced Electrical Drive (FAED) program. Drawing on innovations from the pioneering Obsidian, her diesel-electric hybrid system offers 4.5 times the electrical storage capacity of Feadship’s first hybrid yacht, Savannah. Powered by two contra-rotating thrusters for propulsion and steering, this design removes the need for conventional drive shafts and rudders, resulting in reduced drag and improved efficiency.
By utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, optimal efficiency was achieved, leading to precisely calibrated pods and propellers that reduce vibration and enhance onboard comfort. This innovative engineering approach reflects Feadship’s dedication to both sustainability and continuous advancement.
This remarkable superyacht is constructed with a steel displacement hull and an aluminum superstructure, offering a generous 2,450 GT of internal volume. Spanning four decks, it accommodates up to 12 guests in six inviting staterooms.
