Holland based shipyard, Damen Yachting has announced the successful delivery of the third Amels 60 superyacht, KHALIDAH. The 60m (197ft) Amels Limited Edition has been handed over to her owner and will take up port at the Amels Headquarters in Vlissingen City until her final departure.

KHALIDAH features yacht interiors by Winch Design in light materials, wood, complimentary colors and high-tech lighting and entertainment solutions with input from the owner themselves. While her exterior yacht designs were penned by Espen Øino with signature Amels trapezoid shaped windows.

The owner worked with Deeside Maritime to help oversee production of the final build stages and operational management KHALIDAH moving forward.

Today’s delivery represents one of the more significant milestones as, together with the yard and the owner’s team, we mark the move from build towards onboard enjoyment.”
KHALIDAH comes equipped with six spacious staterooms in total, for 12 guests with 12 crew members and one captain also accommodated for. Notable features of this Amels 60 include the sun deck, swim platform, owner’s suite with private folding balcony, 9m (30ft) tender on the foredeck, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and touch-and-go helipad.
Similar to her sisterships, the Amels 60 “features a range of cutting-edge equipment and technology, including IMO Tier III-compliant hybrid power and propulsion.”
“This proven hybrid system currently offers the best solution to reduce harmful emissions, reduce noise and vibrations while benefiting from lower fuel and maintenance costs. It also allows you to cruise up to a certain speed without using the main engines, solely cruising on the generators,” elaborates Joppe Osté, Project Manager at Damen Yachting.
