Damen Yachting has announced the successful delivery of 197’ (60m) SATEMI – making this the team’s first launch for 2024. While it may be the first delivery for 2024, SATEMI is the fourth 60m Amels Limited Editions design to be delivered since their inception in 2019. The current plan is for SATEMI to sit quayside at the Damen Yachting shipyard in the Netherlands for a few weeks before departing on her maiden voyage to the sunny Caribbean.
SATEMI’s Design Inspiration
SATEMI is notable for her timeless exterior yacht designs by Espen Øino with customizations made to the second hull of the series, with her owners opting for elongated windows. Custom interiors were provided by Studio Indigo who completed the interiors on the original Amels 60 design. The owners enjoyed making their mark on the interiors by working closely with the design studio.
The owners were represented by Tassos Papantoniou from Torrance Yachts throughout the sale and build.

A key design feature in all Amels 60’s is to create “exceptional onboard experiences” including the signature spacious sun deck, a large swim platform and spacious owner’s suite with foldout balcony. A further five guest cabins are onboard, offering total accommodation for 12 guests with space for 13 crew members.
SATEMI comes equipped with an IMO Tier III-compliant hybrid power and propulsion system, ensuring she has the latest technologies onboard.

Now that SATEMI has been handed over to her owners, Damen Yachting’s Project Manager Danker Rijk, manager of SATEMI throughout her build adds, “It’s been great to see how all parties involved have pulled together and have put in so much effort during this busy project. The result of their work speaks for itself; the yacht looks stunning. We hope that the owners will enjoy stepping on board for the first time this year.”
The Damen Yachting team has a further three Amels 60’s currently in build.
