SeaVee Boats History
Founded in 1974 by Miami native Captain Don Mcgee, SeaVee Boats was born from Mcgee’s vision to create a boat capable of withstanding fishing’s most rigorous conditions/experiences. By selling directly to consumers and cutting out the middleman, Mcgee offered his SeaVee boats at a lower price than the competition. In 1993, Ariel Pared was purchasing his first boat from SeaVee. Captain Mcgee quickly sparked his interest by allowing him to take part in the boat’s creation process and providing Ariel the opportunity to customize certain aspects of the boat. This experience sold Ariel in both the product and the company culture. Shortly after that, Ariel purchased the entire company, along with two additional business partners. Together, they decided to expand the company’s boat lines and allow all of their customers to customize their boat with luxury features to further enrich their experience on the water.
