Arksen has released new footage of their 85ft explorer yacht, Project Pelagos, on sea trials on the Solent straight from the Wight shipyard. The British brand currently has two 85’s under construction with Project Pelagos making her maiden voyage before handover to the client.
Designed with family in mind, Project Pelagos offers relaxed seating on the main deck, large open spaces for socializing, and alfresco dining. As with all Arksen 85 models, she features an efficient hull design and three decks, with the yacht interior offering customization to the owner based on their own tastes and desires.
Arksen brought in Humphreys Yacht Design for naval architecture with Design Unlimited taking charge of the yacht interiors. A total of 12 guests are welcome on board, while the crew quarters have roomy accommodation for three yacht crew members.
At the launch of Project Pelagos in March, Arksen Sales & Marketing Director Dominic Bryne shared, “We can’t wait to see the vessel off on her adventures and find out what marine science they can support as part of that journey.”
